First Honeymoon registry debuts in Nigeria

In a chat with the CEO, Mrs Omotola Obagbemi she elaborates on why and what motivated the introduction of the honeymoon registry to Nigeria.

Can you elaborate on what Red Kite Honeymoons does?

The Red Kite Honeymoons is a Honeymoon Gift Registry offering of the parent company, The Red Kite. The first of its kind in Nigeria, it is designed to ensure that newlyweds enjoy the delight of a honeymoon without much financial strain.

Our gift registry creates a new dimension to the concept of wedding gifts. Friends and family can now purchase different elements of a honeymoon as a gift for a couple instead of/ in addition to the traditional wedding gifts thereby being part of creating memories that lasts forever.

How does the Honeymoon Gift registry work?

Couples interested in getting their honeymoon as a gift will create a registry with the company on its website. The registry is simple to create and there is a guide on the website on how to create one. E.g. A couple who wishes to Honeymoon in Paris will create a Paris Honeymoon Registry. The Paris honeymoon package is broken down into different travel elements which friends and family can now purchase for them.
