WNS: VWDC by Charlie Brear

VWDC by Charlie Brear is the selected design house for the international, style- aware bride. An abbreviation and evolution from the heritage label The Vintage Wedding Dress Company, VWDC is Charlie Brear’s own-designed collection.

A colour palette of ivories, champagnes, off-whites and creams is accented with antiqued gold and molten silver beading. Silhouettes are inspired by Brear’s love of the most revolutionary decades of style from the 1900s to the 1970s. The collection’s wide spectrum of luxurious fabrics, from sand-washed silk, shimmering satin, crepe de chine, gathered silk chiffon to voluminous, satinised organza and delicately beaded and floral appliquéd lace, show Brear’s contemporary approach to bridal design.
Details including Ostrich feather trims, soft leather and silken tassels reinforce her directional style. Brides can create uniquely styled looks and layering with Charlie Brear’s Additions, a collection of under and over-skirts, tailored jackets, bejeweled and feather capes, ethereal and structured sleeves, waist-sculpting belts and silk sashes.

WNS: Elohor & Henry's Wedding Pictures

Henry Okelue  recently tied the knot to his beautiful heartthrob Elohor Ominiabohs on April 20, 2013 in the Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos while the reception followed at the Bespoke Centre, beside Germain Auto Centre, Lekki, Lagos.

The couple met at a music show in UNIBEN. Henry was in his 3rd year, Elohor was in her 2nd. She came into the hall late and needed somewhere to sit. He instinctively stood up for her to take the space beside him. It immediately dawned on him that he just stood up for the most beautiful girl he had set eyes upon in that school. The sharp guy inside him knew what he had to do, but how to rally the right words became an issue.

Out of frustration he just blurted “err, sorry, are you seeing anyone at the moment?“...babe looked at him and asked him who he was to be asking her that.

HE started seeing more of her after that night, and inevitably asked her out and she refused. She refused for a whole year, telling him in plain terms she was in school to study. This made him angry and he fashied saying 'There were many fishes in the river'.

After school they lost contact but in 2009, they came back through some friends. However, nothing could happen between them because he was in another relationship at the time. They remained close friends. Mid 2010 the relationship he was in ended and the rest they say is history.

He proposed to her on Valentine’s Day, 2012 at Marcopolo in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. As soon as he brought out the ring and asked her to marry him (he was too much in a state of anxiety that he forgot to do the traditional going down on a knee), she stood up and ran into the ladies. He sat there shaking like a leaf not knowing what that meant. After like 5 minutes, she came out, crying, and said “Yes Henry, I will marry you!“.

It was about 11years between his 1st proposal – when he first asked her out and his last proposal – when she agreed to marry him…

Well, time didn’t seem to matter, they got each other at last...

Weddings N Style wish the lovely couple a blissful and wonderful marriage.

WNS: Yetunde & Tobi Wedding Video

Enjoy Yetunde & Tobi's Wedding Video, according to Olu "From the bridal party's choreographed wobble dance to the bride's change of clothes to a stunning evening gown, there was so much pizzazz at Yetunde and Tobi's wedding. When a couple is in love and surrounded by their best friends and family members, such a wedding turns out to be great. I had so much fun filming Yetunde and Tobi's wedding and I thank Yetunde and Tobi for selecting me as their videographer. I just had to include some of their dance moves as this couple can dance.... Have a blessed marital life guys"
