2013 was particularly exciting and full of celebrity weddings...some opted for destination weddings while some held in the country. Even some pastors were not left out and one of our Governors renewed his wedding vows with his wife of 25 years.
Let's look at some of the celebrity weddings and tell us which one you think rocked 2013...

Soon after couples announce their engagement, planning the wedding

financial failures amongst couples during this process. Should you put
everything on credit cards?
Or create a separate checking account specifically for wedding expenses
to avoid overspending? The infographic below highlights information
from couples who have gone through this process, wedding planners, and
event coordinators to give newly engaged couples a few tips on how to
save on their wedding, avoid financial conflicts, and lastly and most

Those redundant words, your wedding day is just one day, may
very well be the truth. But society has given us Bridezillas, Say Yes
to the Dress!, and all the jazz to keep us wanting that one big day, to
be one very big day. Don’t get caught up in the fuss, and listen to the
advice from people who have been through this process before.
How they met Abidemi and Akintunde’s journey started back in College. They met on
August 15, 1995 at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria .They were
introduced by a mutual friend at the welcome event for newly admitted
students fondly called jambites or jambitos. According to Abidemi, "as a
jambite, I did not have any interest in relationships because it was
stuck in my head that jambites were always viewed as preys by returning
students”. However, she struck a mutual friendship with Akintunde that
day and she described him as a caring, loving and selfless person who
did not coerce her into a relationship. One thing led to the other and
they eventually fell in love.
They dated for 7 years and Akintunde proposed to her March 2002 in the
U.K where they were both living. On December 12, 2003, they were joined
in holy matrimonial in the U.S where they now reside.
Abidemi and Akintunde: Celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary
with our three wonderful sons is a testimony to the faithfulness and
goodness of God in our lives and our Marriage. Our journey has been one
of love that we are glad we embarked on. Most importantly, Christ has
been the Solid rock of our Marriage and we know that we are truly
blessed.
Weddings N Style wish the couple plenty more years ahead filled with Love...
Qudus
I
met Khadijah in 2011 at a friend’s party. It was love at first sight.
Before then, I hardly believed in the concept of "love at first sight".
Well, mine was different as it was way more than love at first sight. I
couldn't keep my eyes off her all night at the party. I can still
remember her smile as she danced with a couple of friends at the party.
Typically, I'm not a shy guy but I was completely mesmerized by her and
found myself unable to find the nerve to make a move to dance or talk to
her. I left the party early still thinking about her.
The following day, I called one of my friends describing the lady that
captured my heart at the party. To my greatest surprise, he told me she
was his cousin. He gave me her contact info and I sent her a text
message.

I was relaxing at home one day and I got a random text message that
stated "You have a secret admirer". I am highly inquisitive so I
responded. After exchanging several text messages, I realized my secret
admirer knew way too much about me. I asked for his full name so that I
could start my investigative process, haha. No one knew him! Later, I
found out he gave me his middle name (clever!), so my efforts didn't
yield any result. One thing led to the other and we had more
conversation via calls and texts. We went on dates afterwards and today,
I can say I have married my heart beat.

According to Olu, the Videographer "When a couple is in love, it is not difficult to notice as it radiates
from within. I really enjoyed working with Tosin and Jumoke on their
pre-wedding video. They love each other and make each other laugh so
much. A fun couple like Tosin and Jumoke bring out the best in my
production and I wish Tosin and Jumoke all the very best as they plan
their wedding."
