WNS: Behind the scenes in the creation of Vanessa Williams 14-carat-gold-plated Wedding Invites
How did Vanessa find out about Adorn Invitations?
With many of our invites being featured on
Pinterest, Vanessa found our designs to be very creative and a good match to
what she imagined.
The first steps…
She had a basic idea, a super lavish
‘Carmen Marc Valvo’ dress and an Egyptian theme (Vanessa and Jim, both from
Buffalo NY actually met randomly in Egypt hence the theme). The rest was pretty
much left up to us, to pitch our ideas on colour themes, invitation design and
beyond – including some of the décor like Peonies flowers, laser cut golden
cupcake holders, gold glimmer table cloth covers etc. We got along really well
and our ideas resonated with her and inspired lot of what transpired in her
wedding décor. She really loved our idea of combining Marsala highlight (colour
of the year) with gold, and our idea to laser cut the pattern matching her
wedding dress.

WNS: Brought together by Business...Yemi & Adeola Engagement Pictures
Bride: Yemi Ogunleye
Groom: Adeola Bello
The proposal - Yemi
According to the Bride, the way he proposed to me is the most romantic thing I had ever seen because he said words that can never be forgotten. However, I won't tell those words though so at least we can use them when its time. Lol!!!
The Couple
Yemi & Adeola were brought together by Business and like they say the rest is history. Yemi says he is caring to a fault, God-fearing, highly intelligent, handsome, very ambitious young man, has a heart of gold that is inestimable and understands me perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. While Adeola says she possesses the character and enigma of a true virtuous lady, she is disciplined, beautiful and intelligent lady.
According to the photographer "Documenting the wedding of these two lovebirds (Yemi & Adeola), now Mr. and Mrs. Bello was really fun as every part of it came easy. I didn't have to beg for smiles, and there was little or no disturbance from "papapa" photographers...lol.

WNS: 'University Love leading to the altar' Mabel and Adeolu Pre-Wedding Pictures 'MayDee 2015'
The Bride-to-be: Mabel Tola-Winjobi
Dee and I were classmates and members of the same club (LIVA Youth Forum) back in the university but I never noticed him until during the planning of the end-of-year get together in 2005. At the party, we danced together all night. In fact, I refused to dance with any other guy. What endeared me to him was that he didn't dance roughly like most guys did. During the Xmas holidays, we contacted each other and became friends. By January 2006 after the holidays, we became study partners (a course that readily comes to mind is the almighty EEE 231). Fifteen months after our first dance, we started dating. Fast forward…May 9, 2015…We are getting married!
A lot of times in life, you get the good things when you ain’t even looking for one. Dee is such an amazing person; he debunked whatsoever rumours and became my friend...with no 'hidden intentions' like most guys will do. Really, it’s not about a lady being ‘strict’ or ‘principled’ or 'choleric' or 'strong-faced' or whatever it’s called. It’s about the guy being brave, seeing what others cannot see, and smart enough to dare all odds. And I've got me a really smart, brave, smashing dude for a husband

WNS: INES DI SANTO PRESENTS FALL/WINTER 2015 COUTURE BRIDAL COLLECTION
Ines Di Santo presented her Fall/Winter 2015 Couture bridal collection at wintry landscape at the Academy Mansion in New York.
Romance met sensuality as was seen in a standout beaded sheath with a sweep train, and a strapless silk and organza gown with lace detailing. This season's elegant collection explores texture, shape and applies illusory techniques at the neck, shoulders and back.
Signature mermaid gowns appear alongside new silhouettes that complement the body in an equally dynamic way. Column-shaped sheaths under a pearl-adorned bolero or sheer tulle overlay evoke a modern day Art Deco feel and tiered ball skirts have a romantic mood.
Necklines range from the traditional sweetheart and bateau to the deceptive with delicately constructed, low or keyhole backs and deep-cut, diaphanous v-shaped front lines.
Lace appliques, pearl detailing and architectural beading create depth while underlays in embroidered tulle, organza and English netting build volume among Peau De Soie and double faced silk gowns.
The colour palate ranges from ethereal white and ivory to cameo pink, champagne and petal.
